This EP now introduces the Eli Wolfe Band, building on the ealier, more stripped back EP release, Cards are on the table'. The connecting song between the two EPs is 'Born in the sun'. A beautiful and uplifting song performed on a classical nylon guitar with a unique finger picking style. The other songs are steel string acoustic based and grow to include electric guitar melodies, atmospherics, bass and drums.

The title track from the EP is an inspired empathy song that captures two people sharing a perfect moment as one – sharing an experience of beauty, truth and knowing:

“Paint a picture about how you’re feeling
And place it by a mirror, as you and I.”

"Written after experiancing one of those 'zone' moments of eternal bliss (we all experience from time to time), coming in to shore after an afternoon surf and catching the eyes of my girl friend who was standing at the ocean edge. The 'buzz' hung in my chest for a few days finally showing itself as an acoustic version of the said song. I had the pleasure of working with a talented guy called Lachlan Mitchell on this EP, who was rescently nominated for an ARIA for his work on the Jezebels album 'Prisoner'. These recorded songs are larger in sound (also with full band), yet remain strongly connected to the emotional experiences that initially inspired them and at the end still feel alive, which is really satisfying as sometimes you can lose that connection in the recoding process."
